The Diamond Optics Junction Box is applied on mobile masts or buildings servicing up to four Remote Radio Units (RRUs) from a single hybrid trunk cable (4 power pairs). It provides fibre connectivity through the CIPRI optical physical connection and -48V power integrated through the hybrid incoming and outgoing connectors.

Application
The Diamond Optics Junction Box is applied on mobile masts or buildings servicing up to four Remote Radio Units (RRUs) from a single hybrid trunk cable (4 power pairs). It provides fibre connectivity through the CIPRI optical physical connection and -48V power integrated through the hybrid incoming and outgoing connectors.
The main connector houses the relevant pairs of power connections in addition with the 24 cores of fibre-optic connectivity through an MTP elite performance interface.
All output ports interface to the hybrid jumper cable through the base outlet ports which house one pair of power contacts and allows for connectivity to one MTP elite angled high-performance interface. This interface is tailored to meet customer requirements for optical connectivity 1 to 12 ports.
The bracket provided is 3mm 316 stainless steel construction and features a quick connect system to enable quick, reliable mating between the junction box and the pole or wall. Once mated and torqued to the correct setting, the nut will maintain reliable long-term performance. Application notes are provided with this product.

Application

The main connector system is rotatable + and – 180 Degree in order to properly align the incoming cable once the bracket has been installed in the correct position on the mast.
The brackets provided are stainless steel 5mm construction and have the capability to correctly position the box on the mast in order to avoid mistakes with connector insertion. Correct
